Once you’ve passed, add a plus

You've passed your driving test and can't wait to get your own car, right? Well, the Pass Plus scheme could save you a load of cash when it comes to car insurance. Along with saving you money, I believe the Pass Plus scheme will make you an even better and safer driver.

What will Pass Plus offer?

Pass Plus is a training course specifically aimed at new drivers, designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry. It's well worth considering as you will become more prepared and more confident to deal with a lot of situations you have yet to come across. Insurance companies don't give these kinds of discounts for nothing!

Pass Plus will build upon your existing skills and knowledge, it will teach you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards, and can help you to become more confident on the roads.

Pass Plus is made up of six practical modules which include:Pass Plus

Anyone who holds a full UK licence is eligible to take part in the scheme. You will not have to take a test at the end of the course but you will be continually assessed. You must successfully complete all the modules in the course to an achieved or exceeded standard.

The course is arranged around the modules and is taken either as three 2 hour sessions, two 3 hour sessions or completed in one day. Cost for Pass Plus course can be found in the 'Costs' section.
